Organic Brown Rice Flour is a naturally gluten free flour made from grounding down rice in to a fine powder. Brown rice flour is darker in colour than white rice flour, which is made from white rice, and has a slightly stronger flavour. Along with this brown rice flour is also a very good source of protein and fibre.

Organic Brown Rice Flour can be used in many recipes, including shortbreads, noodles, cereals, desserts and sauces. Due to it’s natural graininess, rice flour often produces slightly crumbly goods when baked alone, however using eggs and gluten-rich flours can be added to help combat this and also assists when making bread that needs to raise.
